Balfour Beatty Communities Foundation Tenth Annual Golf Event Raises Funds for Scholarship Program

Beatty Communities Foundation
(BBCF), a non-profit organization
principally focused on supporting the post-secondary educational goals
of residents who live in communities owned and managed by Balfour Beatty
Communities, hosted its tenth annual “Swing 4 Scholarships” golf
tournament to raise funds in support of its BBCF Scholarship Program.
More than 100 golfers participated in the May 24th tournament
at Burnt
Pine Golf Club
, located in Miramar Beach and known as the “Crown
Jewel of Florida Golf.”

Tournament proceeds support Foundation efforts, including the BBCF
Scholarship Program
, which awards post-secondary scholarships
annually to residents living at Balfour Beatty Communities-owned and
managed properties, including those in the company’s military, student
and conventional housing portfolios. Scholarship recipients are selected
based on demonstrated academic achievement and financial need, as well
as a commitment to community leadership and improvement. This year, the
Foundation awarded 49 scholarships to residents in 18 states around the
