Boston Chef Steve DiFillippo Of Davio’s And Former Patriot Matt Light Represent The New England Patriots At The Taste Of The NFL’s Star-Studded 26th Annual Event ‘Party With A Purpose®’

BOSTON, Jan. 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — The TASTE OF THE NFL, a 501c3 organization, will host its 26th annual hunger relief event to take place on the eve of the Big Game, Saturday, February 4th, 2017 at the University of Houston. The Party with a Purpose® fundraising event brings together fans and renowned chefs from each NFL market with current, alumni and Hall of Fame players for a tasting event to raise money for food banks nationwide. Founded by Minneapolis restaurateur Wayne Kostroski in 1992, the event draws celebrities from all areas of the entertainment world to raise awareness and funds for hunger relief in cities across the country.

This year’s star-studded event Party with a Purpose® brings together exceptional cuisine and prominent chefs from around the country, including Davio’s owner, Steve DiFillippo, and Culinary Director, Rodney Murillo as representing chefs for the New England Patriots along with former Patriots Offensive Lineman, Matt Light to raise money on behalf of The Greater Boston Food Bank.
